I’m Beverly Whitfield, a Caribbean-born, Netherlands-based author. Raised on the tiny, resilient island of Saba, I weave the sea’s patience and the wind’s wisdom into my fiction. My work speaks to the part of you that remembers: the pull of a place, the echo of love, the whisper of a self waiting to be reclaimed.
My debut, The Island Remembers, explores the powerful act of returning — not to relive the past, but to recover the parts we set aside.
Beyond the page, I support women in midlife, to reconnect with power, purpose, and pleasure. Because I believe:
