Beverly Whitfield is a Caribbean-born, Netherlands-based author whose lyrical fiction explores themes of memory, love, belonging, and the quiet courage it takes to begin again. Her debut novel, The Island Remembers, is the first in a planned trilogy set on her home island of Saba, a place of mist-draped cliffs, volcanic trails, and enduring roots.

Beverly writes for women in midlife who are ready to reclaim themselves, their desires, and their unfinished chapters. Her stories blend poetic language with emotional depth, capturing the beauty of second chances and the reflective work of returning to the woman within.

Inspired by her own path of resilience, from leaving Saba as a young girl to building a new life in the Netherlands, Beverly brings a grounded and global perspective to her work. For over 30 years, she built a successful career in international finance, navigating high-pressure environments across borders and cultures. Her professional experience includes leadership, coaching, and client advisory, offering her a deep understanding of transformation, reinvention, and the strength it takes to begin again.

Today, Beverly dedicates herself to writing, mentoring, and empowering women to step into their second act with clarity, freedom, and joy. She is passionate about helping midlife women rediscover their voice, their worth, and the stories still waiting to be lived. She divides her time between the Netherlands and Saba, where the sea, the hills, and the memory of home continue to inspire her writing.
